From the monument to the 16th president to the granite wall that bears the names of service members who perished in the Vietnam War, these are the places you want to capture when you visit Washington, DC. The Icons are known as the symbols of the Nation’s Capital and are instantly recognizable around the world. On our tour, we will see familiar landmarks like the White House, Albert Einstein Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, and Korean War Memorial. You will get the must-have shots that define the city and the unique perspectives that showcase your creativity. On the tour, we will discuss the background and history that makes each location significant. We will weave through four to five locations, and you will enjoy leaving with the best of the Washington, DC, Icons in your portfolios.
Pre-event - Anatomy of a Camera. Fifteen minutes before the tour begins, we will hold a brief discussion on the history of the camera and the features of a basic camera. (Optional)
Washington, DC Icons - Our Signature Excursion through the monuments on the National Mall.
Duo Rate - Bring a second photographer and discount the registration by $20.
Family Member Rate - Family members and friends who aren't photographers who attend to enjoy the narrated tour.
